Sciengate Automation (M) Sdn Bhd was founded in 1991, beginning its journey as a trading and engineering firm. Over the years, the company developed into a regional supplier of factory automation system component parts serving the Manufacturing and OEM industries.

1991 — 2001
The Foundation
Sciengate began as a trading and engineering company, initially operating as Scigate (M) Sdn Bhd.
2002
Sciengate Automation
The company rebranded to Sciengate Automation (M) Sdn Bhd, strengthening its identity around industrial automation.
1998 — 2012
Automation & Technology Partnerships
The portfolio expanded through partnerships involving Proface, Flowline, Takikawa, Solartron, Micro Epsilon and Delphin Technology.
2015 — 2020
Wireless, Measurement & Regional Growth
Sciengate expanded into wireless sensors, opened its Central Region operation in Dataran Prima and broadened its analytical, precision, weighing and wireless technology portfolio.
2020 — Present
IoT, Industry 4.0 & Smart Manufacturing
Sciengate moved further into IoT and Industry 4.0, adding technologies such as Digihua, Patlite, Schneider Electric, Wecon and Fuji Electric.
