MLR-70 Guided-Wave Radar Level Sensor Transmitter
The MLR guided-wave radar level sensor transmitters are compact level measurement devices that include a transmitter that emits microwave pulses along a rod or wire rope electrode. The pulse propagates along the electrode in the form of electromagnetic wave toward the level surface, where it is reflected and the signal wave component is returned to the receiving module of the electronic housing. The on-board circuitry measures the time of flight of electromagnetic wave and the distance to the surface level is calculated. According to the level height, the level meter output is set and the measured value is shown on the display. Radar level meters are resistant against changes in the atmosphere (pressure, temperature, dust, steam) and to changes in medium parameters (change in dielectric constant and conductivity).

Ultrasonic Liquid Level Sensors
CFL Float Liquid Level Sensor
The CFL Float Level Sensor Transmitter uses a plastic float that contains a magnet inside, the linear movement is in direct relation to the liquid level being measured. The movement of the float excites the divider circuit that is located inside of the stem which is then converted into a analog 4-20mA output signal. The CFL Float Level Sensor Transmitter is designed by focusing on accuracy and reliability in liquid level measurement.
The CFL series is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of various industrial applications.
Reliable liquid level measurement is vital for smooth and efficient operations in industries like water treatment, chemical processing, and food production. The LevelPro® CFL Float Liquid Level Sensor by Icon Process Controls offers a durable, cost-effective solution for accurate level monitoring.
How the CFL Float Level Sensor Works
This sensor features a plastic or stainless steel float containing an internal magnet. As the liquid level changes, the float moves linearly, exciting a divider circuit within the sensor’s stem. This motion is then converted into a precise 4-20mA output signal, providing continuous monitoring and easy integration with control systems.
